Checking in to say that I haven't obtained gainful employment since 2008. Aint that some shit? That's right, I'm still not working.
I've done some odds and ends type jobs to keep bread on the table...but no one will hire someone with all of my experience and education in this industry.
Thinking about removing my college degree and dumbing my resume down.....all the way down.

I did that and it does work wonders... Until they interview your ass and all of that knowledge comes through.

You don't know me, but two years ago you wrote a blog about Mark Raymond Smith. I was the subject of the email referenced in the blog about his broken heart as we were engaged. The email was most unfortunate as it was not true. Mark had been ill for quite some time and was had accepted his fate. I was delighted about the response and that someone remembered and thought enough of him to post such a nice response to a very unpleasant email. I have, for two years, unsuccessfully been trying to identify the person who posted the initial blog about receiving the email. No one seems to know or can't find the email. Wanted to share that you should sign up for job postings on HigherEdJobs if you have not done so already. Don't know if you have considered a college radio station or working for a college or community college in marketing. Just a thought.........
